Details:
I was on an expedition ship in the pack ice of the Arctic Ocean well north of Svalbard. The sky was overcast with opaque stratus which was likely going to preclude our seeing the eclipse. We watched for 1 hr and 40 minutes and managed to see it filtered by clouds for 5 seconds about 15 minutes after maximum coverage and for about 3 seconds some 20 minutes before last contact. It was worth the wait.
