In vacations, after looking confortably (arm-chair, mild temperatures) after 10 PM local time a couple of grazing Perseids aside a small road in a dark location just outside of Beaulieu Ardèche, southern France, I set up back "home" the ASI 224MC above the terrasse until dawn. I used SER file, multiple 10 sec exposures and enough gain to see clearly the Milky Way in Firecapture. This is the brightest meteor recorded "aiming" to Mars ! (20180812_01:37:37.729_ LT_UTC+2) seen and dated using Serplayer software ...
