Details:
Between 10PM (10 Aug) to 4:20AM (11 Aug), this was the only bright Perseid Meteor captured. A few smaller ones near the radiant point (near the Double Star Cluster lower center) were imaged but that was it (not shown).
Used Nikon d7100, Nikkor 35mm f/1.4 @ f/2.8, iso 1600, Orion Sirius EQ drive, 30s exp. Excellent sky transparency!
This year's display so close to peak night is the weakest I've seen on/off over 40 years. Hope things pick up fast tonight and tomorrow night,
