Details:
Although the lunar eclipse was not visible here in the United States, the Moon and Mars make a wonderful pair in conjunction. Not only did Mars the red planet pierce the glare of the full moon, but a smoke fill sky also. The two shined right through the wild fire smoke filled sky here in Central California. The smoke even gave the Moon a gorgeous eclipse like look.
