Details:
Mars Global Dust Storm on the early morning of 07-07-2018.05;34 U.T.,...just as Mars is getting close enough to Earth make out very fine disk details, this dust storm kicks up to obscure the finer details,...but at least I can still see the South Polar cap..and Northern polar region blue water ice limb clouds...and barely see some darker features on the surface through the dust using an 8" diameter telescope. It was shining at -2.34 magnitude at the time and still getting brighter, The Planet Mars is easy to see visually, this is that brightest orange/yellow looking star in the Southeast after dark and is up all night in the South, by dawn its in the Southwestern sky.
