Details:
Easily the best display this season so far and it's only started! This was a display of structures with whirls knots ripples and the most curious feature I have seen in almost sixty years of observing. In the NW this curious 'smoke ring' effect which only lasted a short time and of type 5 in brightness. Before dawn the ripples in the NE were amazing the best I've seen since the 2009 season, what a show!
