Details:
With Mars now so bright it casts a glitter path on the water as it rises in the southeast.
This was on June 19/20, at a prairie pond near home.
The panorama shows the scene looking south, with Mars and Jupiter and their respective glitter paths flanking the Milky Way and Saturn in Sagittarius. The stars of Scorpius shine between Jupiter and Saturn.
The sky is bright and blue with light from the setting waxing Moon and also from the perpetual twilight that illuminates the sky all night at solstice from my latitude of 51 degrees north.
