Details:
This shot was taken at the Tessellated Pavements at Eaglehawk Neck in south east Tasmania. It shows the Milky Way rising with Mars as a companion. Saturn, Sagittarius and Scorpius are all in the scene also. I was particularly impressed with Mars reflecting in the sea. As Mars rose and began to peek through the cloud, it was like a light house as it switched on and off as the cloud came and went. A very impressive sight.
