itl look better if you back away from your screen. it looks different here then what i have on cn and on my laptop it looks over cooked

Sure. In case of small pics such as planets this site displays them oversized to approximately fit the page (however if one clicks the pic it appears in correct size, and of course it appears smaller in the gallery). A way to fix the problem is probably to post a picture bug enough (I think 730 pixels in horizontal, as any pic downloaded from such a page) with the planet in original resolution but surrounded by more black space - many use part of the extra black space to write the details. I had similar problems with my latest pics.
