There back! - Not quite NLCs but the first of this seasons Polar Mesospheric Summer Echoes (PMSE) that indicate NLC's will be around very soon. Observed this morning with The Mesosphere-Stratosphere-Troposphere (MST) Radar Facility at Aberystwyth, which is an atmospheric research station which is funded by the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) and operated on behalf of the UK atmospheric science community.
