Details:
Comet 105P/Singer Brewster was magnitude 17.5 in this GIF and image, about as bright as it is predicted to get in this trip into the inner Solar System unless it decides to surprise us Earthlings. 105P made its close approach to Earth on April 13 when it was 116 million miles from Earth. 105P reaches perihelion in its 6.46 year orbit on August 10 when it will be 190 million miles from the Sun. As usual, select the large image to get the best resolution.
