Details:
With Crossfield to the left of me and Airdrie and Calgary to my right, I was surprised to be able to hold the shutter open at F2.8, ISO 2500 for 20 seconds. This Lyrid fireball was definitely the highlight of the morning, the fireball graced our skies at 03:18 and the smoke trail from the meteor lasted a good 90 seconds, I did manage to catch other meteors but they were few and far between somewhere around 10-15/hr

That is a gorgeous shot Harlan. The All-Sky camera at the University of Calgarys Rothney Astrophysical Observatory also caught that exact same fireball, but your shot is much, much better. see http://spaceweathergallery.com/indiv_upload.php?upload_id=144117.

I made an error on the amount of frames that was caught the smoke trail actually lasted 10 frames, at 20 seconds each thats over 3 minutes!
