Details:
This was the brightest I've ever seen from all the way down here at 46 degrees latitude. It looked like a cathedral of light pillars with intermittent flashes extending from the horizon to at least 50 degrees skyward. Unedited ten second exposures taken from a Galaxy S7. Wish I had my real camera on me.

Not STEVE, more like a aurora pillar, STEVE is never part of the aurora band.
