Finally I had chance to test my new camera on the ISS.
I have a Skywatcher 150/1200 Newtonian telescope since many years. But my old camera has too low pixel number for ISS photos. But now the time has came, with my new Canon EOS 80D
The station came at 19:45 local time just right after sunset. At highest point it reach 79 degree height! I only had chance to focus at the Venus a few minutes before the transit. The sky was s too bright so I could not find the ISS coming and I was only able to start shooting when it was almost at the highest point in the sky. I used manual tracking trough the finder scope.
I was so excited when I downloaded the images. Form the ~300 images I had ~200 with the station, and from those images these are the best frames.
