Details:
While watching the aurora develop over Denali on the frozen Susitna River, I saw the arc develop and saw 'Steve" for the first time! Even with the half full moon it was clearly apparent and stretched all the way from Anchorage toward Denali and the horizon, a distance of over 100 miles and lasted for more than 30 minutes. It was great to finally see something in the night sky with my name and capture it! Canon 7D MKII, ISO 2000, 10mm, F3.5 11 seconds
