Despite the horrible weather we had in Norway tonight, we managed to find a gap in Finland, just when everyone was ready to take pictures there was this beautiful corona in the sky with many shapes, some like a phoenix

Lovely :)) And this one was taken on March 17 of 2015, looks exactly like your photos of March 16th/17th this year. Strange as I thought the purple is due to nitrogen in the Earths atmosphere
