Details:
We really weren't expecting much in terms of Auroral activity this week, especially with the spotless Sun not producing much in terms of activity, it was a really welcome surprise to read news of an unusually large Earth facing coronal hole on the surface of the sun. The results tonight of this incoming solar stream were just phenomenal! At one point the whole sky was on fire with the green hues of the Aurora, we just didn't know where to look. We were treated to some beautiful overhead coronas and some vivid clear dancing curtain formations. A very welcome surprise in this otherwise quiet solar season.
