Details:
It was a bright, cold sunny late-Winter day. There had been a long stretch of rain and snow in the area for a few days. The hiking trail was alternating between muddy suction and frozen treachery. As I reached the base of a roaring cataract, I could see an incredibly vivid display of rainbow hues flashing in the roaring sunlight. I used a circular polarizer to enhance the pic to reflect what I was seeing.
