Details:
An other crystal clear night here in Kvaløya.
We picked our spot and waited for predicted incoming solar wind ,which could have arrived tonight the 8th of march but it is travelling much slower than predicted .
But the above images are what appeared in the skies above ,why ? well because its getting nearer the equinox, and as space weather quoted yesterday ,aurora usually appear in the lead up too ,and just after the equinox.
The kp was fluctuating between Kp 1 and 2 while these unbelievable coronas where dancing high above us, you could see the red purple and green curtains dance ,as it hit the nitrogen and oxygen
Gases in our atmosphere .
The show was so good that one of our guests decided to take this opportunity to propose to his girl friend and in among all the screams of joy we heard ... Will u marry me .
Then the next thing we heard , Was a great big Yes.
That's when we decided to capture there moment for ever.
To them the solar wind did arrive even though its still on route .
