I Found these red sprites while going through the footage taken by the Gemini Cloudcam just last night. The snow seen in the foreground is a clear indication that these sprites where definitely Winter Sprites. The footage is from the night of Feb 7,2018 and it was taken by the cloudcam that is facing towards Hilo which is east of the Gemini Observatory.
