Details:
The 94% illuminated Moon has passed over Alpha Tau (Aldebaran) and other less bright stars of the open cluster of Iadi, the last astronomical phenomenon visible from northern Italy for this year. Entrance at 2:40 a. m. and exit at 3:01 a. m. local time. Sum of 60 + 60 images of Aldebaran (one hour + one hour, interval one minute), selection of a series of shots at intervals of 10 seconds. Because of the strong turbulence it was necessary to "clean" the images with Photoshop. Exposition of 1/400 sec. f/5,6 100 ISO for the Moon, 1/100 sec. f/5,6 200 ISO for Aldebaran. Canon 70d, zoom 70/300 mm. at 300 mm., star tracker SkyWatcher Star Adventurer. And... Happy 2018! :-)
