Details:
Very mild air (11.2 °C in the night!) determines the weather over the turn of the year in Saxony/Germany. Typical warm air clouds like the Altocumulus translucidus passed quickly the moon and produced colorful coronas around satellite of the earth – above the dome with the Coudé-refractor 150/2250 of the observatory in Radebeul. The star to the left of the moon is Aldebaran, which was occulted by the moon a short time later. A nice finish on the penultimate day of the year 2017… Equipment: Canon EOS 6D, 50 mm (F2.8), ISO 400, 0.3s
