Details:
Had a great night last night guiding day 3 of a 4 night tour for Lights Over Lapland. My group had seen some light auroras on nights 1 and 2. Last night we started off with heavy snow when we took the guys out via snowmobiles into the wilderness. At 11pm the skies opened up just at the right time as we had a huge corona and this image was taken just after that with the camera pointing to the south so there must have been strong geomagnetic activity. www.oliverwrightphotography.com
