Details:
One of my biggest moments behind the telescope. I believe I snagged the Northern Temperate Belt/Band and Polar Brightening on the elusive 7th planet. This was done using an ancient 22 year old Meade LX50 10" SCT f/10 and a ZWO ASI120MM camera along with a Baader 610 Long Pass Near IR Filter. I acquired a 38 minute video (5 fps) stacking the best 1000 frames out of 10,012 using AS2, Registax 6, and PS5. Goes to show what can be accomplished with older equipment. I also acquired and stacked the best 600 frames/1200 for the RGB version. The composite image is a blend of the IR610RGB and overexposed Uranus to capture 4 of its moons.
