Details:
A geminid meteor and an image of the parent body 3200 Phaethon taken on the same night. So lucky to have a clear night! I also have a video of the "rock comet" moving through the stars over about an hour. Phaethon imaged with my modest Orion ST150 5" Newtonian and a Point Grey Grasshopper camera. The meteor one frame of many taken with a Pentax K-3 and a 10-17 zoom at 10mm, 15 seconds, iso 1600, f/6.3.
