Details:
Had a fantastic super moonrise in the afternoon from the garden of the house. Then as the geomagnetic storm started in the night (around 11pm) I photographed a beautiful corona develop over the next doors house. I tried to compose the aurora so it looked like it was coming out of the chimney! So both pictures where taken from the same spot but about 5 hours apart. The moon shot was taken with a 500mm lens and the aurora with a 14mm. Both shots where handheld as the super moon made it bright night!
