Details:
Images of the sun taken with
both h-alpha and white light.
A Lunt 60mm double stack with a B1200 blocking filter was used for the h-alpha images and an Explore Scientific ED80 with Thousand Oaks Type II glass filter was used for the other solar image. The moon image was taken with the same ES ED80 (without the solar filter). The single frames were acquired using a Nikon DSLR on a stationary tripod.
