This happened last night, above Ågvatnet, a lake next to the small but famous village of Å, in Lofoten.
At first, I was planning to shoot some deep sky shots and I had even brought my FORNAX Mounts LighTrack II star tracker with me. But the sky was filled with green clouds, a boring type of Aurora which is actually light pollution for me (I'm a bit of an Aurora snob, I know). I waited for around 3 hours and not much happened. I was not able to photograph my deep sky targets or the Aurora as it was not worth it. Then, I decided to change location and maybe try to get some meteors with another foreground. Right after I packed everything, I had a look at the sky and things were already starting to change; when you see the Lights multiple times, you know how they look like before something big happens. I quickly unpacked everything and 5 minutes later the sky went crazy.
