Details:
I took a group out tonight for Lights Over Lapland in Abisko. Weather forecast was showing 100% cloudy plus fog. Combining that with a kp 1 to 2 through the night it might have been expected to be a quite night. So all things considering it ended up being an incredible night. The blue hole of Abisko gave us clear skies all the time we where out. Some time after 8 we saw a huge comet and we had two fantastic aurora displays. These two shots (of the later display) were taken at 0.4 of a second shutter speed as they were extremely bright. Greens and pinks visible to the naked eye. www.oliverwrightphotography.com
