Details:
Tonight’s KP5 electromagnetic storm was visible over the Lake District so I took my workshop group up to Castlerigg Stone Circle and to my surprise the aurora was visible. The moonlight is pretty strong right now, but we had a burst for just over a minute around 11pm. The stone was light painted with a head torch. Thanks to Gary Lever for pressing the shutter whilst I danced around with a torch. The things we do! Canon 5D4, 24mm TSE f3.5L @ f8 @ 400mm, 25secs, ISO1600
