Last night the brightest star in Taurus Aldebaran was blocked by the Moon for just under an hour. This image shows a sequence of shots taken from 7:40 PM to about 9 PM showing the movement of Aldebaran in relation to the Moon. Taken with a Canon 6D, 400mm, Astrotrac mount, 1/600 second for Moon, 1/10 second for Aldebaran
