Between the clouds and only 1d above the Eastern horizon, I was able to capture the beginning of the Waxing Crescent Moon occultation of Regulus, Leo at 04:03am cdt with Sony a6300,300mm fl , iso 12800,1s exp. A little over an hour later, 05:42am cdt, the clouds broke again to allow image of the egress of Regulus at 20d alt. on the dark side of the Moon with Earthshine visible, 1/4s, iso 6400. The SkyX Pro charts show the wide field and close up 1d of the ingress of Regulus.
