Details:
The Aurora was very bright and large, and it was in constant motion. The photos were taken with a Nikon D610 DSLR and they were not edited. They were taken with a 28 mm lens and the Aurora was too wide to fit in the frame of the full frame sensor. From my location in Bellevue, at its peak, the Aurora stretched from NNE to NW. Aurora is a rare event, and this is the most impressive display in a few years.
