Details:
A very good friend of mine and I celebrated his 50th birthday by spending the first week of September in Pasvik, Northern Norway. It turned out to be his best birthday present imaginable: the weather was sunny and exceptionally warm for the season, it was full moon and last not least a coronal mass ejection (CME) illuminated the night sky by some absolute breath-taking Auroras. We spend unforgettable hours and hours, night for night at the campfire. Luckily, I brought my camera to witness some moments of the “Perfect Arctic Nights”. Hope you enjoy.
