Details:
Interesting seeing two such monster active regions (and in equatorial zone) in a year distant from the solar maximum. The main sunspot of each region was visible in eclipse glasses.
AR2673 grew 10 times in a single day. The last pic (H-alpha) reveals it's quite active, probably with a flare.
North is up in all pics.
