Details:
Interesting seeing two such monster active regions (and in equatorial zone) in a year distant from the solar maximum. The main sunspot of each region was visible in eclipse glasses. AR2673 grew 10 times in a single day. The last pic (H-alpha) reveals it's quite active, probably with a flare. North is up in all pics. DETAILS: Pics1&2: C8 @ f/6 + Astrosolar + Canon600D (wide) & iNova PLB-C2 (details, 2x1000 frames each processed in Registax). Pic3: Lunt60 H-alpha PT + Canon600D. Conditions: Variable clouds and seeing. Refined and colorized in Photoshop.
