Details:
Here is a selection of my 2017 USA Eclipse images - sorry for the late posting but I have only just got back to the UK. I set up a Canon SX50HS at ISO 100 and F8 with the focal length at 1200mm and allowed the Sun/Moon to drift across the frame. I had previously prepared a CHDK script running in the camera to take a series of exposures from 1/1600 sec to 2 seconds to capture various aspects of the eclipse. This set up allowed me to watch the eclipse and not get distracted by attending to the camera! The images here have exposures of 1/1600, 1/1600, 1/500 and 1/60.
