All taken w/ 400 mm Canon F.L. lens on T2i, APC sensor, all in RAW (significant Diamond ring detail lost in jpeg conversion for Spaceweather), ISO 200, bracketed 1-spot from midpoint exposure in rehearsed sequence. Fixed tripod, cable release. Adjusted in iPhoto 2011. Bailey's beads 1/1000. Multiple beads prob. due to grazing well off center line. Crescent 1/2000, Antique effect. Diamond ring 1/500, rays go edge to edge in high res. TIFF. Corona 1/15 sec. Blue "star" at lower left corner in this and a previous post cannot be Mercury (too far away and dim) so I assume it is Regulus.
