Details:
The view of the Solar Eclipse yesterday during 100% totality was worth every step of the climb to our perch high in the Laramie Range of Wyoming.
Right before and after totality the changing light was something I will never be able to adequately describe to anyone. The light reminded me of an incandescent lightbulb, instead of the intense burning solar rays we are all used to. It was nothing less than something out of a Sci-Fi movie.
The temperature dropped significantly during our two minutes of darkness, so much so, that we were all shivering uncontrollably. A dog started barking off in the distance, Venus was visible to the right of the eclipsed sun, and the corona was amazing.
