Details:
Solar eclipse glasses were nowhere to be found in New York City, so we had to improvise. I went to the roof with my wife, Sarah, and two sons, David and Rhodondo. My wife and Rhodondo used pinhole viewers; David and I used reverse binoculars, projecting the image onto a makeshift screen. All the viewers worked, and we were amazed by the results. This was a family day to be remembered for a long time. Details: iPhone7, handheld.
