Details:
Tropical storm Harvey was not only generating gigantic jets but it was also generating Sprites, Halos, and Elves. I recorded numerous events with my Watec 902H Ultimate but these are by far the best two. I also managed to capture some with my DSLR but most were faint due to haze and thin clouds. One of these gigantic jets looks like a sprite but that is because I only managed to capture the top half of the GJ. The bottom half was obscured by a lingering cloud and haze.
These events were recorded on Aug 19, 2017 between 08:36 and 08:50 UTC when Tropical storm Harvey was just south of Puerto Rico in the Caribbean.
