Details:
Shot these from next to Rt 89, south of St Mary, Montana. Was a great display of magenta pillars and even a short lived proton arc. Only company I had this 6900' altitude were some Black Angus cattle and the rising moon. Details; First 2 images done with Canon 5DMk3 & 11-24mm lens. Third image done with a Canon 7DMk2 & 10-22mm lens. The orange glow is a grass fire by Duck Lake about 12 miles distant.
