Details:
A fine display of crepuscular rays tonight, July 9, at sunset, with clouds in the northwest casting shadows across the sky, diverging away from the sunset point at left, and arcing across the sky high overhead at centre, and then converging toward the anti-solar point at right. The nearly Full Moon rose near this point a few minutes later, but by then the shadows had diminished. This is a panorama taking in the sky over a sweep of about 240 degrees. The panorama's perspective and wide angle gives the impression of the crepuscular rays looking like a dark bow in the sky. Taken from home in southern Alberta.
