I was taking practice shots of the sun while preparing for the upcoming August Total Eclipse. When I looked at the sun photos on my computer, I noticed a dark spot on all the images. After looking on Spaceweather.com, I confirmed this was an actual sun spot I had just inadvertently photographed. How exciting!!! Details: shot with a Canon EOS Rebel T3i, with a Phoenix 1000mm lens with a Thousand Oaks Optical Solar filter attached. f/8 @ 1/100th of a sec., ISO-100...
