Details:
I was sitting in my kitchen eating supper just after 7:15 pm and looked up through the skylight to see unusual bright colors in the sky and cool clouds. I quickly headed outside to the deck to see the vertical bars fading and spreading vs. what I thought to be smaller, brighter, more intense colors through the skylight. The photo looks to the SW portion of the sky and was taken just before the colors faded out completely.

It looks like a fragment of a 46 degrees halo or its supralateral arc.
