Details:
This morning (05 June) Venus was photographed shining brightly above a Musasa tree and my Home in a beautiful dawn sky which was lit up by an emerging purple and magenta twilight arch. Although not as vivid as those which followed the eruption of Calbuco Volcano in April 2015, colored twilight arches still appear from time to time at dusk and dawn and are produced by lingering patches of stratospheric aerosols derived from eruptions of other volcanoes in Central and South America. The photographs were taken using a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ-60 compact camera in sunset scene mode.
