Early this morning (04 June) the Waxing Moon with Jupiter close by were observed setting above Murahwa Mountain to the west of Mutare. The leading time-lapse animation displays 60 frames from a two minute video of the Moon descending behind some trees on the summit of the mountain. The following two photographs include Jupiter and the last picture is a close-up of the Moon taken an hour earlier. The video and photographs were recorded using a tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ-60 compact camera in sunset scene and manual exposure modes with up to x60 zoom magnification
