Details:
On the evening of Sunday 28th May, clouds at my normal observing site on the Otago Peninsula and an astounding display of the aurora drove me to the picturesque outlook point on Signal Hill in centre of Dunedin City see if I could see the aurora despite light pollution. Boy could I see an aurora. It was super fun quietly photographing a wonder of nature as students yelled and screamed with joy as they took selfies of themselves with a beautiful display!
