Details:
The northern horizon stayed bright as twilight settled in. There was some motion as ripples in a big teal curtain wavered above the horizon. This was the brightest aurora I've seen in a couple of years- not bad for New York! I started taking photos ~10:21...aurora was still going strong 5 hours later when the camera's battery died. Canon 7d Mk II ISO 2000 30 sec
