Details:
NOAA, sent out a kP4 alert and I was out the door, it has been a pretty dry month for aurora in Alberta due to inclement weather, and although the weather was poor Ventusky indicated there would be an opening Northwest of Calgary. I arrived at the Twisted Ponds area of of TWP 274, and started to set up, the aurora display lasted 2 hours from 2330 - 0130. I did manage to catch the newest aurora called "Steve". Steve hung out with me for 15 minutes.
