Details:
AR 2654 had faded to a spotless plage yesterday that had nearly disintegrated, but today a fresh plage has erupted with new spots in the same area. It appears to me to be a totally different spot with a new, youthful plage, but due to its location is still officially considered AR 2654. I have never personally seen this in the past.
